Grenville family papers : Legal papers, 1425-1885, (bulk 1709-1885).

Lawsuits, mostly concerning lands and rights over them, including mortgages, marriage settlements, trespass and eviction, poaching, common lands and enclosures. Most of the lawsuits were heard in Chancery and are associated with Richard Grenville, 1st Duke of Buchingham and Chados (1776-1839), Richard Grenville, 2nd Duke of Buckingham and Chandos (1797-1861), and Richard Grenville, 3rd Duke of Buckingham and Chandos (1823-1889). There are a few cases concerning Grenville and other debts, heard in Kings Bench, and a few miscellaneous cases.
